As we move through the summer months, we’re excited to share some important updates. In this newsletter, you’ll find information about upcoming curriculum changes designed to enhance learning and support student success, details about our upcoming office relocation, and a look at the events from this summer.
We're Moving!
We are moving locations! OVS has had exceptional growth this year in terms of both students and staff.
As such, we are moving to a larger office space. But don’t worry, we aren’t moving far. Our new office is located just across the street from our previous office.
Our new address is: 2 Sheppard Avenue East, Unit 1501, North York, ON, M2N 6K9
We will officially be moved into this office on Monday August 7th!

Summer McIntosh World Record
At just 19 years old, Summer McIntosh is already an incredibly decorated athlete and Olympian. Setting records and earning medals is something that she is no stranger to accomplishing. However, this past July, Summer broke a record that had been years in the making.
The previous world record for the women’s 200m butterfly was set by China athlete Liu Zige in 2009, with a time of 2:01.81. At the 2026 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials she shaved 0.16 of a second off the previous record, coming in at a time of 2:01.65. Summer has said in interviews that this is one of the records she’d dreamed of breaking as a child.
As one of OVS’ talented alumni, we are so proud of all Summer has achieved and are cheering her on to continue to dominate the swimming world.
Spain Graduation
OVS is dedicated to providing accessible education to students globally. As such, we have many international partners and students who attend courses with us. Some programs, such as Aston Herencia in Spain help student achieve success through dual diploma programs.
These students attend school in Spain, earning their high school diploma from their country, while simultaneously attending OVS to earn their OSSD as well. These students work incredibly hard balancing the demands of two educational system, two sets of curriculum requirements, and two languages (English and Spanish).
Our Principal, Mr. Vinay Aggarwal flew to Spain this past July to congratulate these students personally on their amazing success. We are so proud of our June 2026 graduates and are looking forward to another year another class of exceptional students.
