In Grade 7 geography, students will explore opportunities and challenges presented by the physical environment and the ways in which people around the world have responded to them.
In Grade 7 geography, students will explore opportunities and challenges presented by the physical environment and the ways in which people around the world have responded to them.
In Grade 7 history, students will examine social, political, economic, and legal changes in Canada between 1713 and 1850. They will explore the experiences of and challenges facing different groups, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities, in Canada during this period, and will compare them to the experiences of present-day Canadians.
This course teaches students language knowledge, skills, and strategies and their ability to use them independently and effectively to understand, reflect on, apply, and communicate information and ideas, and for continued learning in school and in a multicultural, multimedia world.
Grade 7 Math is designed to help students acquire a positive attitude towards mathematics, as they learn a variety of skills that will help them become capable and confident math learners.
Students will learn about ecosystems and the environment; the effects of forces that act on and within different structural forms; the distinctions between substances and mixtures; and the effects of heat.
