We asked Ayan a few questions about her experience with OVS.
How has OVS prepared you for life outside of high school?
OVS has helped me develop essential skills like self-discipline, time management, and an independent learning style. Additionally, the courses were challenging and engaging, which prepared me very well for the expectations of my university.
How did your experience taking courses with OVS compare to your day school experience?
The biggest difference was the flexibility. At OVS, I could set my own pace and schedule that helped me become more independent and responsible for my learning. Also, the personalized approach helped me understand the content more deeply and reduced the pressure I sometimes felt in day school.
What advice would you share with students who may be looking to take courses outside of their day schools?
If you’re thinking about taking courses outside of your day school, be prepared to take more responsibility for your learning. Stay organized, manage your time well, and do not hesitate to ask for help when you need it. The flexibility is so good, but it requires self-discipline. So do not be afraid to try it!
Ayan is currently studying Bachelor of Science in Food Technologies at ADA University.
